Seasons come, seasons go, Yellowknife seems to have two seasons only winter and two months of summer.  Well not really, just a lot of carry over of snow and cooler or colder weather in between them all. When the weather permits, Yellowknifer's play hard and take their pleasures to the extremes.

Captured here a Yellowknifer tightens down the safety straps as he just had a one ton crane lift his sailboat from the cold fall waters. The water craft will stay in storage till next June.
