Kids seem to have a greater sense of adventure and fun and will easily go exploring new things as compared to us adults, they won't let cold feet get in the way.  Don't take me wrong, the kid in me often wants to come out and play too.  For what ever reason once you cross into adult hood, some dam fangled brake mechanism puts a stop to keeping the kid in all of us from jumping out, call it maturity if you want,  I call it sad.

Captured here, my two children venture out into the frigid spring waters.  It was fun to watch them explore and leave foot prints in the sand.  Believe me, the kid in me wanted out too.
