Ed Hardy - daydreamer, father, photographer, firefighter, EMT-A.

Ed's interest in photography began many years ago with a purchase of a family computer, which in turn sparked a interest in web page design, adding a digital camera was just the next natural step to complete this adventure.

Photography is a passion of its own, any and all subject matters interests Ed.  Shooting exclusively with digital SLR offers Ed a lot of manual control, sharp detailed images along with great colour and saturation. The computer and internet are my window to the world and allows for even more creative and out reaching aspects in photography.

Ed's worked as a full time Firefighter-EMT-A for fifteen years for the City of Yellowknife before a work related back injury forced him out of active duty in the fire service, followed by a two year stint as a Business Licence Clerk, then two years as Senior Researcher for the GNWT in scheduling Firefighting, Bylaw and EMO Training across the Northwest Territories and now as a Safety Officer for the WSCC.  Ed is currently working on his Advance Level CHSEP Certificate.

Ed has lived in Yellowknife since since 1987, moving here from Regina Saskatchewan.  Ed is also busy at home with 3 active sons, ages 12, 16 and 18.
